Julie Madere has over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting across both public accounting and industry. She joined Savvy Oil and Gas Consulting in 2026 as Controller, where she leads the firm’s accounting and financial operations.

Julie began her career in public accounting, spending nearly 10 years with EY, where she progressed through multiple roles and ultimately served as a Senior Manager. She later continued her leadership in public accounting with Postlethwaite & Netterville, now EisnerAmper, progressing from Audit Manager to Senior Audit Manager over more than 10 years with the firm. In these roles, she managed audit engagements across a variety of industries, advised clients on technical accounting matters, and ensured compliance with professional standards.

Earlier in her career, Julie served as Financial Accounting Manager for Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, where she led financial reporting and accounting operations for the organization.

At Savvy, Julie oversees financial reporting, month-end close process, internal controls, and billings, helping ensure the firm’s financial processes are accurate, scalable, and aligned with the company’s continued growth. Her deep experience in financial reporting and internal controls allows her to strengthen Savvy’s operational foundation and support the leadership team in maintaining strong financial visibility.

Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
